Your eyes strain to see
A warm gun pointed at me
Darkness chokes the scene
You wonder what it all means
You see something in his eyes
A dark sea of lies
He seems so desperate so scared
A wild dog with his teeth bared
Money is hard to find
It alters your state of mind
He says he wants your purse
He spits out a curse
The words fall ******* the ground
Then there isn't a sound
You hesitate your eyes glued to the gun
It glimmer as bright as the sun
you toss the purse towards him
He shoves me towards you, it looked grim
He ran away into the night
That was quite the fright

We constantly drive
Not wanting to arrive
No destination No end
Just want to see whats around the bend
If we never stop then we never part
We never have to bandage a bleeding heart
Time stuffed with things to do
All because i love you
Its just one endless day
No one but ourselves to obey
Its the open road
We have our own code
We both kinda smell
But hey what the hell
Its all just pure luck
As if we give a ****

Cradle my my bleeding heart
As everyone laughs and falls apart
We used to breathe but we don't anymore
We smile and nod as the ceiling becomes the floor
The sands of time slip through our fingers
The warm memory always lingers
Your eyes softly glow
Our conversation does flow
No one else is around
They are lost and can't be found
We ***** a perpetual journey into our soul
We were halves that are now whole

The black dragon of the eternal night
Flies over the world of light
It walks the earth enraged
Finally free of its cage
It drains the light from the sky
All that lives is sure to die
The bonds have been broken
The gates of karrin are now open
The blood will run deep
People will forever deep
But a sword will emerge
To enact a purge
To slay the dark
To erase its mark
We cling to this bead of hope
As we measure our rope

Go out into the rain
Warm drizzle going down the drain
Laugh a little,dance a little ,live a lot
Get soaking wet, who needs a dry spot
The water comes down heavy in places
Things so blurry its hard to see faces
Lighting flash and thunder roar
laugh for more
When you get you always get dry
There is always time to cry
But this is not it
Rain that looks like spit
It starting to stop
You're as damp as a used mop
But your fine with that
You shake off at the welcome mat.

All the birds do sing
They sing about everything and anything
They are simply  hollow words
Sung by cute little birds
Floating through the peoples ears
Bringing smiles and calming fears
The birds work is never done
Because happiness is a loaded gun
But all the birds still fly around
Never allowed to touch the ground
They are to happy for such a fate
They wouldn't make it in the gate
They simply are and that's enough
Made of marshmallows and fluff

Tiny beads of fine sand
Run laughing through my hand
Right here at the beach
With everything within reach
My shovel and pail
The ground so frail
The constant roar
The birds all soar
Sandwiches with a crunch
Always make a good lunch
Salt fresh in the air
Floating by a sand castle lair
Everything seems so right
Sleeping adults kids in fright
Of the advancing tide
Little ***** that try to hide
All the kids come for the day
they always want to stay
The calm whistle of the breeze
The ice cream that always seems to please
The laughter of children floats about
Its a happy place no doubt
Filled with beach towels and old books
To those secret rock nooks
The beach holds many mysteries
Each with its own history
