Cars fly by on the highway, becoming nothing but blurs.
They race to one place or another, some don't even have anywhere to go.
They just go unknowingly to where they think they will be more happy.
The blurs cease to exist, trading all there freedoms for more fuel to nowhere.
They try to escape there life by going on meaningless trips to nowhere
never going home to where they belong and be truly happy.
People in these cars cease to have any real contact with the world relying on technology
They've traded the joys of hearing laughter and the rhythm of a good conversation for meaningless text and acronyms.
They've ceased to be people at all.
The world became drones only focused on there next trip to nowhere.
No people walk the earth only drones in their cars, becoming blurs...

Open your eyes and look around
Let all the colors seep through you
Let the warmth spread its all you can do
Help your feet off the ground

And just fly fly fly
And see were being leaded by the blind
It time to leave them behind
Time to ask why?

Every storm must end
You just have to see hot to get out
Eyes age, our eyes are fresh see past their doubt
Who knows whats around the bend

In the end everyone goes blind
Before you do look around one last time
See the colors feel the warmth. see the lack of grime
Then let the young see and mold there minds

I don't regret my choice
I regret what i let slip by
I regret ignoring that voice
I regret saying good-bye.

I will miss you.
You looked so sad that day.
You said the words we both knew
Things i was afraid you'd say

As the words fell flat.
we gazed at each other with sad eyes
and that was that
I slowly walk away gazing at the blue blue sky.

Light dances in her eyes.
Her laugh softly lingers
Slowly drifting high into the deep blue skies
She has her life on her fingers.

She wanders from town to town
Making brief meaningful connections
Traveling away from a wedding gown.
She lacks a sense of direction

She hardly thinks, she just does
acting on impulse without a second thought
she does not need a because
she doesn't want to be bought

She runs from herself
her shadow taller then her soul
she wants to put it on the shelf
so she can obtain her goal

Oh the rain does fall
Countless droplets crash on the grass
They break open on the brick wall
They slide down the smooth glass

She walks alone in the rain
Her brown coat soaked
The color in her emeralds never drain
Though they are constantly cloaked

Glimmering cars rush by
She walks with such grace
Under the steel gray sky
Wearing bright smile on her face

Someone yells her name
She can not hear it over the rain
Everything sounds the same
She walks down the lane

Lighting brightens the sky
Puddles get deep
She starts to cry
The rain starts to seep

She has gone too far
She runs back
She finds her door ajar
She drops her pack

She hugs her mom
Tears stain their faces
She promises not to roam
To those wet places

The water falls down.
Today the sky is crying
the tears fill the air

her tears fill my heart
her scream is a thunder clap
loud and condemning

the water carves deep
Breaking down the dirt
Carved with true sorrow

her pain never stops
constantly numbing her heart
life without a sun

Are you there?
Or are you a whisper in my head
Some things are unfair
I fear to fall out of bed.

I'm gone.
Dust blowing in the breeze
Too tired to yawn
My breath seems to freeze

I lay on the floor
My head is tired
Your voice seemed to soar
My brain is wired

Trying to find my other eye
Searching for what was lost
You made my heart fly
Was it worth the cost?
