The Power to be Weak
Park Hye Rin Dec 2015
I've bestowed myself
the power to be weak,
to break when time permits,
to be shattered
like glass pieces,
to shake while crying
like a five-year-old child.

This is a time
I get off through my window
at night,
when everyone else is a goner
to the world,
I'm off to a whole new universe
of sadness, despair, helplessness
and utter darkness.

I let myself afloat the black hole,
to be swallowed if it needs to
