I'm afraid I've grown addicted to her presence.

How I long to indulge myself in her touch that I grow drunk with just a whiff of her scent like a mad man.

Dreaming, contemplating, making imagery in my mind liking to that of a movie pleasing as beer to Filipino men.

I see her as I climb mountains, as I swim through the seas of the Philippine coast on my own.

Finding you at the tip of my pen as I slowly write down what both the heart and mind tell my soul

off guard

To think a time will come to me
when a women such as you arrives.
wondering, what it is that took the gods so long to bring you,
or why of all times tonight.

Young I spent life learning.
learning to keep myself strong.
at a young age I've conquered cities.
but have yet to conquer the amygdala alone.

Ode to Dulcinea
pariah Jun 2015
What say you become the subject of my poems
and in detail of my mind hear its uncensored messages

There is no truer words than what you'll find here my Dulcinea
No door, no window, no passage of old
more accurate and real than these words on paper

Blankly I write for you
Letting my pen dance to the vibration of your universe
tapping with alien music that I failed to escape from
I know the consequence
I know the debts
Powerfully you have captured me
as if by attraction you forced the universe
to cast your spell
leaving me drunk with you in my thoughts
with places once fine on my own
now seeking the companionship you provide

My Dulcinea
If you would allow me to write for you
let these silent words of mine be known to you
let those same words enter you from the heart
before all places blessing me with your embrace

I will make the world envy you
provide you the romance women
from all works of life sought

Dance with you under the finite light of the stars above
singing the ballad of my soul
that it may cease to torment me in silence

Unfair creation
pariah Nov 2015
You are an unfair creation
Whose thriving light is limitless
Even when your smile flashes it towards the isle
isle of where men like me stand weakest

To shower myself in your vibrance
That is both viral but full of life
An explosion of combustible matter that warms homes after winter
You are like that

A portrait of kalpana, a dream that overlaps my reality despite meeting only once,
but you don't notice.
And it made you all the more beautiful.

It is in man's nature to seek romance
no matter how unwavering his exterior may seem to be.
It is in man's nature to have been born a king, and no king  is without a queen.
Ironically you find those warriors of light standing stern but secretly hope for touch.
And it is in man's nature to serve, a woman as great as he was.

opulence on impact
pariah Jun 2014
I fear the day
the height I soar
will be too much for my wings to handle

where time slowly fades
like spontaneous lumber within a hearth

where little by little
my feathers fall and my eyes steadily closing

slowly at first but then faster
falling and failing at a height that breaks

spinning I was heavily
when moments before impact my eyes opened
realizing that eagles are capable of evolving at a rapid pace

I crashed, immobile for a moment
broken but still confound by hope

that is when stars aligned themselves to guide me
and burst forth FIRE!
a phoenix stronger and brighter before.

If my world opens its doors for you.
I fear the sentinels guarding its gate dare not comply;
Nor shall the council of my world would allow you to traverse;
Nor shall the people allow your foreign grace

Your presence shall cause chaos to my land.
Bring about pain to every individual.
To make matters worse would drive nations to envy;
And make my world red with their bloodlust.

But what frightens me most is not the destruction you'll cause milady.
Nor the evil in me you awoke.
What frightens me is that you've conquered me;
Conquered me without arms nor armies.
And here I lay opening my gates to you.

Teresa my ballad
pariah Feb 2016
Compassion is strongly tied to the drip of blood
As slowly both parties wound themselves to please the other
And as I lay sleepless
in the four sided realm where we mounted one another
You in my arms, smelling like the first scent of spring
Morose but full of life, weary but satisfied,
One by sight but apart upon closer inspection
Unsure of the ammunition used to slay tongue summoned monsters
Waiting to pounce the moment we split the earth and leave
Forced to bear the thirst til the day our soils grow forgetful
Concious that a grain is missing
But content enough that it not entertain its longing

Your hands bring warmth for as long as I could remember
Even now when the chasm grew more and more unreachable by light
As if it knew the moment we part today, is lost and can never be found again
Took matters into its own and gluttonously eats infinitely

To part without love does me justice
To have lost you to one who shares your soul
One who ignites the light in your eyes
and perhaps only in love can the absence of stolen objects
be filled as if they never left
Based on the story of bees and powder

blossom found in a deep void
mysterious it is as night.
though its dark complexion leaves no bound
beauty and shadow contrast, a never ending sight.

in its presence love is but fake
and though embed by darkness it illuminates
more vivid than a withered rose
in its presence like sun and moon combined unalone

must the human eye fail to see this wonderful gift
or are we all blinded by its tenacious grief
wonders and mystery deeper than love
it is that mystery that makes it all above

The sea awoke in this sad melody
A sea of tears flowing from sky to river bed
As the currents flow fast therefore shallow
Yet is silence the symbol of a deep past?

Worry not tis is only the beginning
For now may our travels begin
Be it like water, river, sea or ocean
Our goal is to become clouds to float again.

Now we are clouds floating in the horizon
Our laughters fill the air
But our white forms now turn darker
And I fear or time together is coming to an end

As our hands are yanked by fate
Forcefully driven to let go
Always remember that the time we’ve spent together
Ends not now but continues soon but not tomorrow

— The End —
