The Winter Angel
Paolo Gronow Mar 2015
Floating through broken ice
So pure and glowing white
You came to visit me
Although it was night
Bringing your light
Silent within the whispers
Of your shimmering soul
Slowly gliding
Forever guiding
Quiet as the stillness
Your apparition appeared
Standing before me
Bright shining glory
As fast as you touched me
Gracefully you left
But the memory of you
Will always remain
Deep rooted within me
Although cold was the river
The warmth still glows
Oh winter angel of the night
Comeback one day
For together we will take flight
