A Dear Robin Delight

The robin’s red breast in my backyard—

Every winter, they come.

Such a joy to watch,

Hopping from bush to bush,

Where the feeders hang.

A bright sight

Against fresh blankets of snow.

Their song echoes through the quietness,

A melody of nature’s embrace.

Their wings flutter in the cold air

As they search for food and warmth.

I marvel at their resilience,

Enduring the harshness of winter.

Their vibrant red chests—

A symbol of hope and life.

I find solace in their presence,

A reminder that beauty can be found

Even in the coldest of seasons,

As the robins grace my backyard.

I am grateful for their visit—

A fleeting glimpse of nature’s wonders.

And I cherish the moments

When the robin’s red breast...

Brightens my winter days

Every year I have two sets of Robins in my garden, I watch then intently, they are always very busy.
