wings

my wings no more itch for long flight

happy to have found a good branch to nest

 

but when my neighbour regales me with their trips far and wide

a great jealousy unknown to me rises in my bones

 

I keep that neighbour at wings length

knowing their restless heart is jealous of my peace.
