It seemed so real

Through eyes not sure are mine,

a skull, attached to spine,

an old man's face,

came into view,

I ask him,

"what's on your mind?"

he looked at me,

with deep ocean blue eyes,

"son, I could keep you here for hours,

but"

I'll leave you with this,

"it doesn't matter which end of the rope your holding, it's still the same length"
