The Reunion

by ih8posers

After all these years They're finally here in this moment How sweet their lives have been Those smiles that convey a successful one The road made them strong and humble On the table they have gathered To exchange exclamations as they unite again Cheers to those who grew up and endured the pain The faces of the worlds toughest Those who survived the struggles Heads help up high, stayed Even when there's was no one to cling to But they know those were temporary It's all part of the journey Feelings, Disappointments and so All took different paths towards a goal Some didn't make it The ones that let difficulty pull them down Now they just observe a world That does not care about them The word quit is not in their vocabulary That's why they're here together Let the light shine on them For they know that there's no shortcut to this Life goes on, good things happen if they keep on living So cheers to everyone who made it There's always a hand to hold on to At the finish line They're all waiting there, You'll see the reality To the summit of nonexistent Were dreams are far away
