That man who snatched you from the playground Remember who rescued you? Now it’s my turn To be in that place. To rescue the innocent To keep people safe Oh brother mine, don’t criticize This gun at my waist? It’s not to fight This badge on my chest. So, I've took a creative writing class and we did a unit on poetry? This is one of the free verse poems I did! I don't know where I got the idea but it's about someone who wants to be a police officer and their brother doesn't want them to because he's scared.
