Acceptance

by bea-de-vera

You said that I can be anything So I sign up to be a member of a club You got mad because you said it will ruin my grades Why can't you see the potential within me? You said you'd support my decisions So I ran and became an officer of the club You got angry because you said I'll just get tired Why can't you believe in me? You said you'd be proud in whatever I achieve So I fought and became the president of the club You got so pissed that you said I disgraced you Why can't you understand I'm doing this for you? Why can't you see that I'm working hard for you so you can say that what I was great and everything I did was so exemplary? Why can't you see? Why can't you accept it?
