Cosmic Love

Like two comets on the same course,

we collided head on together –

two different beings somehow brought together

in this incredibly small and distant planet.

Stars burned brighter,

and time seemed to move slower than usual.

There were no signs of life,

nothing but our hearts beating in the night.

Like two comets colliding for the first time,

causing a galactic display of fireworks in the night,

we held onto one another as we flew across the sky,

making passionate love to the sounds of the universe.

You kiss my tender lips, then fly away,

leaving me lost in your beautiful scent and charm.

Longing to hold you in my arms once more,

to feel your embrace so sweet and warm.

I carefully fly alongside of you,

and catch you as you begin to fall.

Love has always been a great part of us,

and I am proud to have you in my life.

I look past you into the sky,

and watch as the comets float through the air.

Like the clouds that soar above the earth,

they always seem to quickly disappear.

But not us my darling,

our love will always prevail.

As long as we have each other,

there is nothing that we can't do.

So take my hand and let's get lost

far into this mysterious universe.

Let's fly higher than the heavens

and let our love blossom forevermore.
