Walls bend

— slow —

floors give way,

not shattered,

just slipping out from under me

like they were never meant to hold.

I step

— forward —

but arrive nowhere,

each movement

a circle drawn in dust

that forgets my name.

My Shadows whisper

through the seams of the room,

walls trembling

with things unsaid,

and I move

but nothing notices.

Nothing lives

— not truly —

nothing dies,

just a stillness wearing different masks.

My eyes stay open

but sight won’t settle,

truth thinning

into something I can’t touch,

each reach

already empty.

Breath comes back

hollow,

sound without weight,

a maze tightening

inside my chest,

turn after turn

after turn

no rest,

no rest,

no rest.

Hands meet glass,

then nothing,

cold pressing into colder,

never mine to hold.

Faces flicker,

fail,

fade out of place,

time folding

over itself

again

and again.

I’m missing

— somewhere inside —

then gone,

then briefly here,

then hollowed out again,

my mind turning

in slow, collapsing circles,

dragging me under

without depth,

without bottom,

forever

forever

Nevermind.
