Blame game

Words were had

Most were bad

Two who love

Made each other sad

You blame me

I blame you

It happens, sometimes

Division of two

The love is strong

It will survive

Time and distance

Must be required

We haven’t spoken

Not one word

It’s been a few days

Mutually ignored

I think

And think

About how it occurred

And I still don’t feel I was wrong

You probably feel you weren’t wrong too

Two hard-headed people

Who usually get along

Maybe this is the end

Of our relationship

Two otherwise good friends

Over each other we tripped

I miss you, for sure

And maybe it’s because my character is poor

Because I cannot bring myself to apologize

For that fight

As I dissect the way it went down

I feel I was in the right

I miss you

But not quite

Enough to

Assign myself blame

You probably feel the same
