“A book is made from a tree. It is an assemblage of flat, flexible parts (still called "leaves") imprinted with dark pigmented squiggles. One glance at it and you hear the voice of another person, perhaps someone dead for thousands of years. Across the millennia, the author is speaking, clearly and silently, inside your head, directly to you. Writing is perhaps the greatest of human inventions, binding together people, citizens of distant epochs, who never knew one another. Books break the shackles of time ― proof that humans can work magic.” ~~~~ My ‘two cents’, which is now only a theoretical construct, is that a brilliant man makes a brilliant point, and by doing so indirectly reveals why the masses of future generations perforce, condemned to mediocrity ‘tis no accident that the billionaires are tech based, and the tiktok videos and the silky ilk, are programmed to rabbit hole you into a tunnel of psychic pleasuring while voiding a billion brain cells in the process Who recalls that Amazon began as an online book store? But you are here, so here’s a thought, read a great one, easily found here, why even buy a book of one who hooks, you, and let then simulate the sensory rulers, and make them stipulate that to hold a book of poetry in one’s hands, a tactical tactile sensation, that makes the power reading raised to the 10th…
