Exactly Wrong

You loved me, I thought,

But was exactly wrong.

Neither am I yet dead,

Nor very strong.

Your eyes searched mine

For hidden treasures and fears

All of my secrets

Collected over eighteen years.

I gave in and told you everything

You know, Sir, I'm not very strong.

You loved me, I thought,

But was exactly wrong.
