Drowning

You’re drowning Dying to flee the current, Trying to fight it Even though you’re already under With waves crashing over your head, You’ll rise to the surface And scream for someone to help Jut before the current takes you back under Again And its hard, I know you’re fighting to survive But you’ve been gone And its been so long, Since you took your last breath, There isn’t much time, You’re dying in a crowd, And no one cares enough to save you, Not from yourself, Not ever.
