Weary eyes stare so heavy,
Drooping with their weight.
People act like they don’t see,
The tiredness that is there clearly.
Just another empty glance,
Another look that way.
This tired soul will soon relax,
And try to fade away.
For now work calls,
And so they turn.
Weary eyes still dry,
Aching to pass down.
Another button,
Another push.
Soon their tired dreams,
Will be delivered onto them.
