heather

for I shall die a thousand deaths,

'fore life tears us.

with ****** eyes and shallow breaths,

awaking thus.

yet, our valley is still full,

of bold vapor.

inglorious, sickening pull;

fate's sole shaper.

though fog is never here to stay -

changing weather.

our future, I sure survey,

my sweet heather.
