Music in Fall

Golden leaves raining from the milky sky, Autumn's coming...don't ask why. Without the greys, the pinks look shy, You won't count the smiles until you cry. There's music in every Fall, There's rhythm in every swaying tree- short or tall. This grand design makes you feel so small, But special at that- in Nature's Ball. Silence is beautiful but heavy on the heart, As if laughing with gay abandon were a lost art. Thinking fuels you, pushes the cart, Tells you it's okay...you've played your part. But then joys, they come so fast, And in flashes, you wish they'd last. Don't look back in the crystal of the past, The universe awaits- with dreams so vast...
