Immortal Among Us

I was one of the firsts And now I am last I am an immortal So to Earth I was cast. Stabbed and fell From the Heavens I was gone I put up with mortals So, how long Lord? How Long? I feasted on pure blood And now it’s all dry No-one is worthy to be bitten So I wait and lie. Angels fall Demons come, Humans are mere mortals Trying to have fun. Stuck here Until it all passes away The spores of human nature Will eventually go astray. Tommy K (c) 2013
