A Hush of Jade

by flame-heart

Kissing with the silent burn in you, those jade eyes piercing through, and a breached breath escapes. Fading in the depths of your steel as I cry out in endless devotion, your hush into my silent prayer. Giving in to your will, not knowing whether I’m flying or falling. Just release me—I’ll take the fall. When vowels reach for the end, lost verses of this enduring chant, the drapes fall down before you— and you see the face of God.
