Daughters

I hope my daughters grow stronger than I was And I hope they never steer wrong! I hope that they fight every fight that is coming And I hope that they never fight long I hope when they win they'll stand and they'll grin And bask in the light of the sun And I hope when the evening glides over them softly I hope that they know when they're done
