Sweet words make up a world . I've always had a contentious relationship with the word paradigm  . How it was pronounced  and its meaning . I think it should be pronounced "pear a dige m" and its meaning a strick control of an outcome that is predetermined . In your words here the paradigm (the marbled statue) has more cracks than the Greek from which it comes . And it is trying hard to hold itself together and keep from crumbling to dust .
