Creeping Into My Soul.

by RayfullyIvy

—-Creeping Into My Soul—- -By- Olivia I. Williams new poem Hollowed eyes Cracked mirror, Sitting among the shattered. Blood trickling from calloused hands Soaking glass Like a thick fur-coat. Exhaustion, Creeping to my soul, wrapping Around throat Trying to swallow Me in total. Left me on the floor With nowhere to go. Bleeding. Bloody. Seeping. Creeping. Into floorboards Below. Reaching– To find myself, To make myself Whole. Leaping across broken boundaries, Screaming in the silence– Loss of control. Yanking. Tearing. While they Are daring, That I declare My Failure, As they stare. While some Swear That I'm lying, Even though I'm crying. Yet they keep yelling Soul shredding, Heart shrinking, Beating faster No breathing. Exhaustion Is a creeper.
