Rat party

by ray-hatim

Remember, remeber, the days they gather Fallen souls in fields of green Burning bullets that wiped them clean Tearing through hearts like molten ember The cries of women who lost their dear The children living in a world of fear Agents of evil with their agenda of terror Faceless men wearing masks as honor In propaganda, men build their wealth Staking cards they haven't been dealt Filling the skies with smoke and metal A rain where it doesn't get wetter Facing consequences, the rats have run To their sewers, where they have no fun The blood and tears mean nothing for them Families are just fuel for them to burn But in the battlefield, fear the child Who carries corpses in his stride With a pledge of justice, heard by everyone Unlike vanishing promises, of those lower than scum
