Flower

You’re a flower,

and I try so hard,

to protect you.

I water you,

every day,

and make sure,

no one ever,

plucks you.

You’re too pretty,

you don’t,

belong in a vase.

But a garden,

no,

a meadow.

Where you show,

your beauty,

to the world,

the butterflies,

the birds,

and the bees.

You make my,

heart race,

you take my,

breath away,

I will never let,

you wilt,

my flower.
