A World Behind The Walls

by @Tribhu_31

By this window, I sit and ponder No, there is no wall between my soul and the world, I wonder. 'Cause my eyes wander in places that the walls can't hide, My endless dreams come true in those silent nights. I dream of a road, so green, so mild And the wind touches my soul as I quietly walk by. I dream of a place so happy and serene, I'll sit there for a while to find happiness within. I dream of people full of life, less sadness I'll greet them in my world, Oh! Breathe in the essence of liveliness. Still I dream and dream, By this window and a wall in between Yet in the darkest of nights, I find myself lost in paradise 'Cause paradise is hidden underneath our scarred skin.
