Wicked Love

by @willadean-wright

Oh the times that you have kissed me                                    Like a phantom in my dreams                                   And your eyes they haunt me                                     Like a devil full of schemes                                  You know that I should hate you                                     Cause you treat me this a way                                          Still, you know I love you                                         Such a wicked game to play                                          Like a match, you burn me                                         When I turn out the light                                           You use me and abuse me                                         Through the long hot summer night                                           Your shadow falls long                                             Upon my bedroom wall                                          And in the morning I know                                      There won't be anything left at all                                        But bits and pieces of my foolish pride                                           Scattered all over the morning                                          Till I lay half-dead inside                                       And you know that I should hate you                                         Cause you treat me this a way                                           Isn't love a wicked game to play
