Endless appetite

He had a hunger that could never be satisfied- no matter how much he ate, it was never enough. He consumed everything within reach. People watched, awe and horror sewn into their faces. Doctors tried to explain it, named it, measured it- but nothing fit. His body, his mind, defied everything they knew. Even in illness, the hunger remained. It was not just unusual. It was terrifying. A man trapped inside an endless appetite.
