Heat Rises

You scrunch your brow, you're angry - A fire lights inside. A jarring sound - you're tensing up I see it in your eyes. Chestnuts roasting on an open fire. I'm a little struck with fear. Though sometimes I can't help but giggle And hope that you don't hear. Adorable despite your mood - A blessing or a curse? Thank the heavens, thank the stars, Thank God I found you first.
