Building My Walls

I let my guard down That's when you swooped in I wore a huge frown And somehow you turned it into a grin I don't know how you did it Not sure how it all happened All I know is that it's all gone now My trust is gone Depression moved in I look like a huge clown who can't even paint on a grin It all happened so fast You started to talk behind my back I don't know what to do I hope this is over soon! And I don't know who to trust anymore If you don't love me walk right out the door You always make fun of me then say you're joking You call me stupid I don't think that's funny I thought you were my friend Will someone tell me where the misery ends? Now I need help building my walls To save myself from another fall To protect my heart And keep me from losing it all I'm building my walls I won't let them fall
