sonoluminescence

my body & I fall into a deep sleep as a glossy voice

cups us into its cratered hand, we nestle into its palm

my tears that fall are collected in a clay dish

to be reused for cleansing the body & hair as

all pain is recycled, transformed into wordless

melodies that ease the aches in my back because

I oscillate in a full diapason --- a vortex bel-canto,

I rest my head in the pillow of these phonics,

I float into the deepest shadows of the throat

until we dissipate together in a sea of acoustic umbra

but this voice acts as a god & keeps us in an ultrasonic

vibrational loop & as the drums of the aural deep

propagate through my spheric-body, there I become

a gas bubble suspended in a melismatic fluid

polyphonic overtones send me to collapse,

seismic & raw, repurposed as a photon ---

love, stillness, & harmony
