Return to my roots

by WylEWriter

It's hard to find yourself when you've given up the search. Or even worse, when you're looking in all the wrong places, and only with your eyes. It's fruitless to claim victory for a vanishing prize. Roots live on, even long after the tree falls. Just below the surface, where life still thrives. Perhaps it would be better for me, to search within. To see if MY roots still live inside.
