A Happening In the New Fallen Snow

Snow swirling by Thoughts swirling by Thoughts of you The ones that come The ones that remind me of how it used to be The ones that sting Standing on the corner All alone Waiting Whether it is for you or something else, I do not know But, here I stand Thinking and thinking Swallowed in my own thoughts, Life happens You pass by in a blur And I don't think it's a reality But it is You see me And I see you Alone, for the first time in forever We connect For one brief moment Driving by, you see me A girl you used to know Standing on the street corner In the new fallen snow
