Cold Solstice

On this Winter Solstice night Shadows of cold souls abound A golden dawn may never come For you or anyone Embrace the cloak of ebon For it surely abounds Tonight and for all time Churn out every dismal sound On the longest night ever known The Earth lies frozen Waiting with visible breath For the sun to return
