(read at your own risk)

*

everything in the room

is the same

only i

don’t know

where i begin

*

i’m not afraid of the dark

i’m afraid

the light will come on

and nothing will change

*

everything is in its place

except place

*

in the mirror

i stand correctly

the reflection

moves first

*

i open the door

and check

the room

remains

i

sometimes don’t

*

i wake up before the alarm

so i don’t miss the bell

*

i count my steps

not to think

when i am mistaken

i think

*

every morning

i know the distance

from my bed to the bathroom

today it felt shorter

i’m not sure

whether i arrived faster

or gave it up
