Live Like There's No Tomorrow

I was sitting there, Innocently thinking, When the phone started ringing, My heart started sinking, It could be the call that could change my life, Hope I won't be sleeping alone tonight, So I got out of bed to answer the phone, Hoping I won't be sleeping alone,  As I reached for the phone, I started thinking, If he hadn't gone out, If he hadn't been drinking, The hospital called, My boyfriend's unstable, He won't pull through,  He won't be able, Within the next hour, He will be dead, Blank stare on my face,  Thoughts racing through my head, I can't believe, My love will die, I drop to my knees, And start to cry, Was it something I said, Or something I did, I never told him, I was pregnant with his kid.
