soul’s desire.

we’re all someone’s reason to cry, journal, sleep through the day, smile, one’s justification to love, even hate. a single person can send the personal drive into a yearning state stronger than will; turn appetite into nausea, silence into obsession, avoidance into confrontation. no matter how preoccupied your mind is with non-existing, there’s always someone who needs you complete; whole. does it make me selfish to desire to be the reason you ponder about my existence at least once throughout the day? imagine all the things you could achieve through imagination. shall I be your reason to dream? your reason to pause? shall I give you a reason to choose something worth imagining? something your mind can return to without instruction. turn your silence into at least a call, turn your avoidance into something no less than deliberate, turn your avoidance into intention. can I become important enough that your mind has to make room for me too?
