How to explain History?

A halo lights up for a short moment.

How many times have I heard

we are different

we would not act like that.

One head, so many decisions.

When will you go out, my hour?

Time closed

in cracked jars

leaks through sharp cracks.

An invisible border

separated by bitterness

for the lost land

moves me away from you.

Look, a small ant carries a big stick,

and a tiger got stuck on a branch

wanting to devour a monkey’s child.

Irony of fate makes

the laws of gravity silent.

Lost in the chaos of condemned saints

we create shrouds

sewing together torn pieces

of a lost thought.

Our beliefs go away and return

jumping their

salto mortale

in the embrace of my and your

inevitable chances.
