When I Tripped

by kalil-magtoto

It was a day like any other when you stepped into my life you said hi I said hi Days passed by you still said hi and I still said hi but something tugged at my heart telling me "you fool go talk to her" So I did and slowly piece by piece you showed me your life You started with the good things you kept your dirty laundry away from my prying eyes it was tucked neatly under your bed safe from the public’s judgement But I wanted to know more No, I wasn’t satisfied with just knowing what your favorite ____ was No, I didn’t like it when you held things back afraid of being judged So I asked you more questions and spent more time with you and got to know you better and felt the need to talk to you every single day And little did I know I had already tripped for you
