Unspoken feelings

Desire moves silently,

unseen from the outside,

reaching deep within,

hidden were no one sees.

It lingers in glances,

that last a second too long,

in words left unspoken,

at the edge of a conversation.

Living a slow heartbeat,

A secret emotion,

held behind closed lips

sparkling in the eyes.

Locked deep inside,

gathering courage in the dark,

wondering if the light,

will ever call its name.

Without warning,

it reaches out,

a warm feeling,

no longer silent.
