Tree of Loneliness

by @max-o

Why, in a tree filled with leaves, is there an acorn, why is it there, why does it stay Beingso different than all the leaves, the acorn sits there alone, no leaves do care for the acorn, for it does not belong on this tree, in fact, they hate it With being so different, the tree is not right with that acorn, "There just to mock the tree" says a leaf, disgusted by the acorn, all wish it away, all wish it dead, With time, the acorn loses the will, loses the hope to stay there, barely hanging on, it's just trying to wait everything out Rejoice comes from all the leaves, when the acorn falls from it's branch, the fall seems to take an eternity, the leaves just want it gone Forgotten is the acorn with time, it is not missed, it is not remembered The tree is now back to normal, it only has leaves, never again will it be tainted by difference.
