The Face on the Wall

I stood there in the hallway Simply staring at your face. Reading the quotes around you About being in Gods grace I studied my reflection I compared my face to yours. Afraid to let myself cry— When it rains it often pours People say you’re still with me Say your presence is the same But I don’t feel or hear you Even when I call your name. -ARI
