Begin in Light

By Max O.

Step into the sunlight.

Let it touch your face,

your thoughts,

the tired places

you do not speak of.

Stand there long enough

to remember

that renewal does not always roar.

Sometimes it is quiet

a warmth on the skin,

a soft return,

a small yes

from the heart.

Begin again there.

Not all at once.

Just gently.

Just truly.

One step at a time.
