Less Fortunate

by Pluck

When my luck drops, my glucose spikes. It's mostly habit now to drown my sours in sweets. As comfortable as it would be to be a permanent victim, the idea that America holds me back is a statistical reach. The good thing about being the least on the wheel of fortune is that tires keep on turning. During this rotation the minds of some victims switch from collecting guilt to earning. Some choose to act, some choose to watch. Some choose to post, some choose to read. Promoted the last nine years, I'm now front of the line, with a comfortable lead.
