Roses

Love is like a rose, when in full bloom.

Portraying love at it's fullest peak

Setting off a scent as it draws them in.

White speaks of purity, and innocence untold.

The red of love, as deeper it grows.

The peach, amber,pink and blue.

Echoes of trust and the many days shared together.

Green echoes out of jealously.

As love withers and dies.

The thorns then begin to prickle.

As innocence and purity is swallowed up.

But

Roses are red

Violets are blue.

And love is still pure.

As a white rose in full bloom.
