Don't Hide

When nothing you know is true, And all the faces you see are new. When all but nothing seems to break, You take a turn to ride your wake. When nothing else becomes a lie, You take a hit and start to fly. You feel no pain to recreate, What you took to feel so great. When everyone else seems to move, And you look around to disapprove. You seem so quick to just restart. You try so hard to stay apart. Why look past when all else fails, Why put off what just prevails. Don’t try too hard to look away, The girl you know you want to stay.
