noise

the noise oh the fucking noise the ringing of school bells the chorus of to dos the crescendo of life stress echos through the long corridors of the brain anxiety builds taller than skyscrapers all while the quiet is over powered by pecking from the jack hammer of expectations the voices of elders are ever amplified by the speakers of a potential future for meer moments is there peace. nothing to say, nothing to do but this is for fleeting seconds the noise sets in the instruments trumpet their unapologetic distractions and I lose sense of reality while life I adore you, to life I implore you press pause on your walkman put your ringer on silent let off the accelerator for a moment because at the instant when the song stops the call doesn’t ring the firing of pistons ceases I can experience your true beauty
