LITTLE BLUE'S ME TIME

Little Blue said in the morning, “I love you!” “Me too,” said I— a little surprised. “I’m going out. I need some me time,” it said. I replied, “I don’t mind, as long as you don’t fall in love with another pen.” “I won’t,” came the reply. “I don’t have a heart.” “But you did tell me you love me,” I said. It whispered shyly, “While you were sleeping, I read your love letters and got inspired.” “Love you!” it said again, and went out.
